DL-80 form is used for changing or correcting driver's license information. It can also be used for replacing non-commercial driver's license when the current one is lost, stolen, mutilated, or was never received.
Form DL-80, Non-Commercial Driver’s License Application for Change / Correction / Replacement, or the PA Driver License Change of Address, is a form that updates the information on a Pennsylvania (PA) driver’s license. The form asks for identifying information such as address, name, and social security number.
The PA Driver License Change of Address is used to ensure that the information on a person’s driver’s license is correct and updated. This is important not only for record-keeping purposes, but also for legal and even transactional purposes, as various government, public, and private services often require a valid ID to be availed of.
The PA Change of Address Form can be used to update information other than one’s address, such as one’s name, biometric details, and even social security number. It can also be used to apply for a replacement license should the previous one be lost, damaged, or otherwise unusable.
If for any reason the information on your driver’s license becomes outdated, you must fill out the DL-80 form to keep your driver’s license updated.
Form DL-80 is a very short and simple form to fill out. Ensure that all information you enter is correct and updated to avoid any issues. Some additional documents may be required or highly recommended to be submitted alongside the form in order to provide evidence that a particular change in information is both true and legal.
