To register your vehicle in Oklahoma, you will need the following documents:

Step 1

Pay the required fees. The first time you register a vehicle in Oklahoma, you'll pay:

  • A title fee of $11
  • A registration fee of $96 for a motor vehicle and $99 for a motorcycle

You may also have to pay:

  • A $17 title transfer charge for a newly purchased vehicle
  • A VIN inspection fee of $4 for used or out-of-state vehicles
  • A lien processing fee, if your vehicle is financed worth $10 if the lienholder is in Oklahoma, and $13 if the lienholder is outside of Oklahoma
  • A postage fee of $3 to mail a license plate.
